Chiropractic

Dr. Christina Scott graduated at the top of her class at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1996. Palmer College is known as “The Fountainhead of Chiropractic”. Given the rich history, tradition, and the location of the school, Palmer was the only choice. During her time at Palmer, she studied chemistry, anatomy, human physiology, radiology, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care. Since graduation, her continuing education has included courses on caring for pregnant mothers and newborns, extremity adjusting, instrument adjusting, and nutrition.

Christina has a passion for pregnancy, natural childbirth, breastfeeding & attachment parenting and was also a Certified Instructor in the Bradley Method of natural child birth and a La Leche League Leader.

Dr. Scott owned Scituate Harbor Chiropractic & Wellness Center, a family practice where she cared for patients of all ages (newborn to 90’s!), athletes, and Veterans for over 13 years in Massachusetts. She is now owner of Vitamin Sea Mobile Chiropractic in Volusia County, FL. Dr. Christina is very excited to bring health and wellness to your home or office!

Christina loves reading, riding her Peloton, gardening, going to the beach, and most importantly spending time with her family and friends. She married her high school sweetheart Brent in 2009, and they have a wonderful blended family including Brady (20), Liam (24), Rachel (26), and Troy (28).

Thanks to her parents, Christina has been a chiropractic patient for over 40 years and has been adjusting both of her boys since the day they were born. She considers herself very lucky because she loves and lives the chiropractic lifestyle of health and wellness.

“The chiropractic wellness lifestyle includes making informed health care choices for you and your family. It is important to realize that chiropractic is not the treatment of any condition. The purpose of chiropractic is to find and reduce stress and interference to the nervous system, allowing the person to experience greater function and an overall improved quality of life. I believe chiropractic care should begin during pregnancy and continue after birth and throughout life.”
